I'm learning both in real life and my spiritual life that there's a certain power in asking questions...even if the question feels foolish.
What if we're not doing anything wrong? What if precisely where we are, who we are, what we're doing, and how were struggling is where God wants us to be? And what if, quickly and easily, God will lift our burden when He decides it's time?
If hypothetically Rock City came to up to Christ, after committing whatever hypothetical deal-breaking atrocities they could imagine, singing, "would you still love me the same?" what would His answer be?
I have peace and joy in the fact that I belong to the Lord. He can do with me whatever He wants. And He wants me to love Him, wherever I am, with whomever I am with, whatever circumstance I am in.
Solomon is in the throws of sin, and the Lord meets him where he is physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
So, I’m waiting. Waiting for a contract. Wishing it’ll be for the one I really want.
